Research nurses are at the core of the clinical research facility. The CRF employs a team of trained research nurses who are available to assist investigators with their studies. A lead research nurse is assigned to each study and works closely with the investigator to develop:
- A study budget that identifies the time, staffing and of resources required to deliver a study
- Study specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that help to ensure the quality and consistency of clinical research activity.
- Screening, recruitment and general co-ordination plans for study conduct
All research nurses are highly skilled in clinical research and work in adherence with ICH GCP and required regulations.
