The CRF will support Principal Investigators leading a wide range of studies including investigator initiated studies, industry sponsored clinical trials, as well as other forms of industry supported clinical research activities funded by unrestricted grants.
The CRF is interested in helping industry and their collaborators with:
Clinical Trials involving Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP)
The CRF offers a range of services to investigators and sponsors wishing to undertake clinical trials. These include a clinical location and trained research nursing staff for the conduct of trials, research pharmacy services and data management support.
Clinical Investigations Involving Medical Devices
Similarly the CRF is happy to serve the needs of investigators conducting investigations with medical devices. Again this might involve the conduct of an investigation within the CRF, or it could be limited to the screening of study participants or providing a venue for long term follow-up activities.
Other Forms of Industry Sponsored Research
The CRF is also eager to work with industry to facilitate other types of research. Examples may include providing support for the creation of patient registries, the collection of blood and urine samples for diagnostic device companies wishing to prove point of care testing devices.
