The Concussion Research Interest Group at TCD is Hosting a Conference about sports related concussion on Friday 24th February 2017 at 2PM in the Stanley Quek Lecture Theatre in the Trinity Biosciences Institute. Enjoy an afternoon of debate and discussion on one of the most critical issues impacting on sport in Ireland and Internationally. Speakers have been drawn from the world of Sport, Medicine and Science and include:
Dr. Colin Doherty, Consultant Neurologist at St. James’s Hospital
Dr. Matthew Campbell, TCD School of Genetics
Professor David Camarillo, Faculty of Bioengineering, Stanford University
The conference will also feature a panel of sportsmen from the world of Rugby and GAA including Fergus Slattery, Keith Wood, Michael Murphy and Seamus Callanan and will be hosted by broadcaster Eoin McDevitt.
