The Wellcome Trust - HRB Clinical Research Facility (CRF) celebrates its second birthday this week. Since recruiting its first participant in October 2013, the CRF has recruited over 800 participants into research studies and had over 2000 participants visits within the facility.
The CRF is currently partnered with over 60 studies ranging from Phase I to Phase III Clinical Trials, medical device trials, investigator led studies and multi-disciplinary studies including physiotherapy, bio-engineering, and clinical nutrition. To mark the occasion of its second birthday the CRF in conjunction with St James's hospital has officially launched the new Research and Development hub.
